It is not printed in the car, on your invoice, or in your account on the Tesla website. The mobile app is the only reliable place it lives.
Share the link, not the code
The link is what attaches the referral automatically when the buyer opens it. If you send only the code, the buyer has to hope there is a box to type it into, and in 2026 there usually is not.
Send the full link before they build or order.
Tell them to open it first, then configure the car.
Remind them it cannot be attached after the order is placed.
What you earn as the referrer
The referrer earns Tesla Credits, usable toward Supercharging, service, or the Tesla Shop. Amounts change over time and are set by Tesla, so treat the official Tesla pages as the source of truth.
